Applying for the Governor's Scholarship

If you are designated as Valedictorian or STAR student at your high school, you will be notified of your eligibility and be provided with application instructions for the Governor's Scholarship by the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC). If you have been notified of eligibility, the following information will assist you:

Eligible students may apply online using GSFAPPS by clicking here.
Once you have completed the application, your college will certify your eligibility to GSFC.
GSFC will notify you when processing is complete and the award is being made.
In addition to completing the application process you must forward official transcripts to Georgia Student Finance Commission for processing.
Funds will be disbursed to your college once all processing has been completed.
